Roundtable on Public Program Simplification
Implementation Update and Considerations for a Changing Landscape
On October 14, 2009, United Hospital Fund convened a roundtable discussion on the simplification of public program enrollment and renewal procedures. Presenters discussed the progress New York is making—and challenges it is facing—in the implementation of enacted simplification reforms, as well as a variety of work that is being done to better understand the issues and opportunities. With or without national health reform and its goal of universal coverage, enrollment and renewal simplification is needed to maximize program participation among eligible New Yorkers.
